Basic Maintenance
The definitive guitar setup - making your guitar play as well as it can. The service includes:
* Spot levelling of troublesome frets
* Lemon Oil applied to open grain necks
* Restring
* Truss Rod adjustment
* Nut evaluation / action adjustment (1st fret)
* String action adjustment (12th fret)
* Tremolo adjustment (model dependent)
* Intonation adjustment
* Clean Pots
* Pickup height adjustment
* General clean up
Advanced Maintenance
A full make-over including fret dressing featuring levelling, recrowning and polishing for the ultimate playing action. Also, nut adjustment and saddle adjustment (notching - where appropriate).
The service includes the Basic Maintenance tasks plus:
* Nut slot assessment and redress (new nut at extra cost - see
Repairs).
* Fret levelling, recrowning, and polishing.
* Acoustic saddle height adjustment
Customisation & Repairs
Most tasks can be undertaken. The starting point is a free estimate which requires a physical examination (sorry - can't do it over the phone). We'll agree the scope of the task and the price. An hourly charge is payable, but rest assured the work will be done to meet your budget.
